One of our favorite recipes adapted from McCormicks are these spicy burgers! So good and we eat them often in the summer because they are fast and tasty.
INGREDIENTS 4 Servings
1 pound ground beef (OR a half lb of ground beef and ground pork for more fat)
1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
1 tablespoon Parsley Flakes
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Salt
1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper, Ground
1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper, Ground
2 medium bell peppers, seeded and quartered
4 slices Cheddar cheese
Mix ground beef (pork), onion and seasonings in medium bowl until well blended. Shape into 4 patties.
Grill patties over medium heat 4 to 6 minutes per side or until burgers are cooked through (internal temperature of 160°F). Add cheese slices to burgers 1 minute before cooking is completed. Toast rolls on the grill, open-side down, about 30 seconds.
Serve burgers on toasted rolls. Garnish with desired condiments and toppings.
